Pierre LEFUMAT
Teacher of the peintres doreurs de Versailles has honored us by running our stages of Faux Marbre and faux bois, for 5 years.
Pierre Lefumat left us on the 10 March 2010. He based his life on humility, the quest for the real, the beautiful and what is human in the sharing of loyalty.
He was recognised as a Maitre, for the absolute mastery of his art, however he was above all a man of value, nourished by the love for his fellow man, deeply human and loyal to those who formed and imbued him with the pride of his craft.
We remember his relaxed and happy face, so attentive to his surroundings and for the deep peace that radiated from him. Pierre had the intense joie de vivre of those who kept in touch with the heart and who knew how to stay in the heart of life. Totally dedicated to his craft, his passion, to create and to transmit, he was at peace with himself and the rest of the world.
His benevolent and sparkling gaze was the true expression of great wisdom and the sign of personal accomplishment in hand with respect for others.
His leitmotif was simple to learn how to be human through art.
We above all remember the image of a man full of serenity, the friend and the total gentleness, which radiated from him to the end.
We will miss him for a long time.
Thank you Pierre for having been the enlightened man that you were, bringing us your certain smile and great tenderness. We will cherish you forever.
The future Museum du Trompe-l’Oeil et du Décor Peint will be dedicated to Pierre Lefumat.
